Service Description

In this intimate and personalized 5-session workshop, participants will explore acrylic painting techniques to create a unique portrait of a loved one. With limited seating to two people per session, the workshop offers individualized attention, allowing each attendee to discover and develop their own artistic language. Through practical exercises and personalized guides, we will address composition, the use of color, light and shadow, and emotional expression, culminating in a work that reflects the essence of who you paint and your personal style. Aimed at: People with or without previous painting experience. Technique: Acrylic paint. Necessary materials: Canvas, brushes, acrylic paints, palette, and reference photograph of the loved one. Duration: 5 sessions of 2 hours each. Capacity: Maximum 2 people per session to ensure personalized attention. Thematic Contents per Session: Session 1: Introduction to portraiture and preparation of the sketch Objective: Familiarize participants with the basics of portraiture and begin the initial sketch. Contents: - Brief introduction to the history of portraiture in art. - Techniques for observing and capturing the proportions of the face. - Using the grid or measurement method to transfer the image to the canvas. - Practical exercise: Drawing the initial sketch on the canvas. - Personalized approach: Individual guidance to adapt the sketch to the style of each participant. Session 2: Composition and color base Objective: Establish the composition and apply the first layer of color. Contents: - How to organize the elements on the canvas for a balanced composition. - Mixing basic colors for the skin, hair and background. Working on building your own palette. - Application and understanding of the work by layers of color (overlapping spots and transparencies). - Painting the base of the portrait. Session 3: Lights and shadows Objective: Learn to give volume and depth to the portrait. Contents: - Basic theory of light and shadow on the face. -Identification of light, dark and medium areas. -Techniques for mixing colors and creating smooth transitions. Application of light and shadow in the portrait. -Individual help to highlight unique aspects of each participant's style. Session 4: Details and expression Objective: Refine the details and capture the expression of the portrait. Session 5: Finishing and final presentation Objective: Finalize the work and share the results.
